Part of your Off-Page SEO plan should be to create quality back links. In the log term quality back links will improve your websites page ranking, and in the short term it will help get your website indexed and listed on search engines.

There are a few ways to get back links from participating in a link exchange program, paying someone to link to you, and doing it yourself. This article is going to focus on how you can create some quality back links yourself and all that is required is a little time on your part.

You should already have your blog or website linked from your Facebook, and Twitter pages so I will skip those two. But if you don’t have your blog linked to these you should make time to do it.

It is important to mention here that you should be linking to your blog and not to your Avon store. Remember the goal is to build up your blog and not your Avon store. It is fine to link to both, but just be sure you always remember to link to your blog.

One important thing to know is that the Authority of a site that is linking to you is valuable. You can work to be linked from 100 small unknown sites and not get much validity. However if you get linked from one site that has Authority you may get results overnight. So what is an Authority website? When I use the term Authority I am talking about website that the Search Engines like, and that get indexed often.

The first back link I want to talk about is EzineArticles.com. How this works is that you write an article and submit for them to be publish. Your article signature will include the back link to your blog. There are other article publishing websites and they also work well. I suggest submitting your article to as many as you like. I typically submit each of my articles to three or four of these sites. But I always submit to Ezine first because it has a lot of Authority. Before ever spending any of your time writing an article first read their Editorial Guidelines. You article will be rejected if it doesn’t meet their qualifications.
The article you write should include keywords that are relevant to your blog, and will help drive traffic to your blog.

The second back link you should work on is Squidoo. This is a lot like a blog, and they do not require that your articles be approved. You can create a Squidoo page for each topic you want to promote and link it back to your website. Squidoo also allows you to earn money though advertising on your page.

Finally another great way to get traffic back to your blog is to create another blog on Blogger or WordPress for free. You can make these new blogs about micro-niche topics that correspond to your main blog. For example if your main blog is focused around your Avon product reviews one of your micro-niche blog may be all about women perfume. The great thing about this is that it allows you to link back to your main blog, and allows you to link to your Avon store for each product.

I am sure you have noticed one main theme about these linking solutions. They are all time consuming! I suggest dedicating yourself to working one of them at a time for a few weeks each.
